MAKE A SNACK DAY: PITA AND FRUIT SANDWICH
This fast and easy treat is sure to tempt any camper!
- ¼ cup of fruit any kind per camper: examples would be blueberries, strawberries, mango, peaches, plums, pears apples.
- ¼ cup of cream cheese per camper
- 1 small pita for each camper cut in half
Other variations can include sliced turkey pieces instead of cheese
Cut all the fruit into different bowls and lay out on table. Put the pita on a platter. It might be a good idea to have the cheese already spread into the pita. Each child can go around the table and fill their pita with two types of fruit.
NOTE: make sure child does not have food allergies to any fruit by signing your waiver! Serve with non-sugary beverage!
